Public Relations Internship Fall 2022

JJ Media is looking to add a motivated and eager public relations intern to our team.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is hungry to gain experience in the communications industry and build relationships with press on behalf of JJ Media's clients. We are seeking those who are passionate about lifestyle brands, sports and entertainment.

JJ Media is a modern day public relations company focusing on media, marketing, and management. Our team aims to provide businesses and individuals with a fresh and fun approach to media relations and marketing strategies in today's ever-changing industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate media and influencer lists

• Assist executive team with drafting media advisories and press releases

• Copy editing

• On-site support at client events

• Assist in pitching JJ Media clients to press

• Research potential strategic partnership ideas for clients

• Support executive team with administrative assignments  

Job Requirements

• Must have strong creative writing and communication skills

• Persistent on follow-up and deliverables

• Work efficiently under deadlines

• Willingness to participate and do what it takes to get the task at hand done

• Available to commit to at least 16 hours/week

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, all Social Media Platforms

This is an unpaid internship for college credit. Ideal work schedule would be a consecutive 2-3 days, with the option to work in office, or remotely.
